FAQs

Q: Do you allow pet parents inside?

A: Absolutely! You are required to be there for the consultation but after that, it’s completely up to you if you’d like to be in the van during their session.

Q: Do I have to be home?

A: Only for the consultation so you can show me your house and pups routine. As long as I know how to enter when you are gone and where to find your pup, you do not need to be home.

Q: Would there be a place that I could meet you in your service area?

A: If you or someone you know owns a house or business within my service area and are willing to let me park in their driveway/street or parking lot for the duration of your session-I am more than willing to do that! I will not park in another businesses parking lot without asking and parks are against the law to do business/advertise at.

Q: How much do you charge for 30 minutes?

A: $45 which includes a potty break.

Q: On the consultation forms, do I have to enter my door/alarm code if I’ll be home?

A: No. If you plan to be home during most sessions, you do not need to provide a code. Although, you will want to provide the information I will need if you do decide to use my services while you are away from home!

Q: Do I have to book online?

A: It is easiest if you book online but you can always call, email or text me as well!

Q: Should my dogs first time on the slatmill be at home or at a pop-up?

A: Every dog is different, but I can say that if your dog is more nervous/timid, it will likely be best to do the first session closest to an environment that they know (being somewhere strange can be overwhelming) so in that case, I would suggest an in-home session. If your pup is typically more confident/fearless, they should do great at a pop-up location.

Q: Does my dog need to have a harness?

A: No, I have plenty of different size harnesses in the van. If your pup feels more comfortable in their own, I’m okay with that too!
